Hello, My name is Natalia and I was born and raised in beautiful Puerto Rico. After my senior year of high school, I moved to Pennsylvania where I met my husband. After high school, my husband joined the Air Force, where he has been serving proudly for over 10 years. We have two handsome teenagers and three mischievous dogs.
I graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from the University of Maryland and then obtained my Master’s Degree in Special Education – with an emphasis in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis – from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. (Go Rebels!)
They say happiness is loving what you do, and for over eight years I have been thrilled to experience working with the special needs community, where I have worked in Early Intervention Programs within schools, and as a Registered Behavior Technician. My drive to better serve and assist the special needs community has to lead me to continue my education and certifications, and I am in the process of working toward a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification. Perhaps the thing I enjoy most about what I do is discovering the connections that make education click with a child, and this grants me the knowledge I need to better serve our community.
