Dear Families, Students, and Professionals,
My name is Lisa Sajna. I was born and raised in upstate New York where I earned two Associates Degrees after graduating high school. After moving to Las Vegas, I attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) where I earned a Bachelors Degree in Special Education, with an additional focus on general education. I continued my education at UNLV and earned a Masters Degree in Special Education. While attending UNLV, I worked for an Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) company implementing ABA home programming to students diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder.
I continued implementing ABA home programming while working in the Clark County School District (CCSD). As a CCSD employee for almost 20 years, I have been a Special Education Teacher and a Special Education Instructional Facilitator (SEIF). I have worked at the elementary, middle, high school levels.
When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, baking, spending time with my family and enjoying the outdoors.
