Hey there! I come to NEAT Services with a rich history of teaching children and young adults. I was a learning disabilities resource teacher in Illinois for 30 years and have taught many children with needs in all grades and subject areas.
My education and credentials include a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and Learning Disabilities and a current Nevada teaching license. In addition, I have been trained in many multisensory approaches to teaching reading, spelling, language arts, math and study skills.
I strive to help each child find his/her strengths and build confidence and self-esteem.
Family is very important to me and I have three children; a son and daughter in Chicago and a daughter in Boston who have blessed me with three amazing grandchildren.
My passions and hobbies include reading, taking water aerobics, visiting my children and beautiful grandchildren, and taking cruises with my husband.
My goal is to help your child be successful and feel valued.
