As an organization which hopes to work with you and your children in the near future, there are things about us we thought you should know:
We want to start off by reminding you that we think you’re strong and incredible parents and human beings. You spend countless hours during your days and nights, making sure your child has every little thing he or she will need. In daily life, you have become more prepared, patient and empathetic people because of your unique family situations.
As special education professionals, we want what is in the best interest of your child and so much more. During the days we don’t see your child — holiday breaks and vacations — we miss your child! We wonder what they’re up to and how they’re doing. We have become empathetic with each and every child to the point that everything they go through and you go through, we feel like we go through it with you, too.
Sure, some days are more difficult than others. On the difficult days, we share your feelings of frustration, just like you have felt before. On the fantastic days, we cry; the tears that come out are happy tears. We may push hard for progress on certain occasions because we feel we have an understanding as to what your children are capable of, and we get pure joy out of witnessing any and all of the progress your children will make with us.
We will be in constant communication with you and do our best to end our daily notes and evaluations of your kids on a positive note because we know you don’t hear enough of that.
In the end, all we want is to build a loving rapport with your children and help them make leaps of progress into being the most independent, productive and well-rounded individuals they can possibly be. What initially motivated us to be great advocates and tutors was the fact that we want to be the kind of advocates and tutors we would want for our own children.
NEAT Services believes that all students have the potential to learn. We never forget that their future is partly in our hands. We believe a strong commitment to family, school, and community are essential tools needed for the success of our students.
With a strong commitment to teaching and learning coupled with well-researched curriculum and innovative intervention, our tutors work hard to ensure that all students receive the best possible education and tutoring, and our advocates must get results for us to be truly effective.
It is an honor to know that you have read this far, and we welcome the opportunity to work collaboratively on behalf of all students and parents to get the best possible outcomes. We recognize that each student has unique and individual needs and we are committed to ensuring these needs are met. We are aware of the time and money you spend for education, doctors, therapists, social groups, medication, equipment and special foods, and we constantly think about how we can be helpful to you all. We love your children and truly admire the strength and dedication you’ve had throughout their whole lives.
